Destiny + Nick - Evergreen Village Wedding
Destiny and Nick had a gorgeous fall wedding at Evergreen Village, just outside of Winnipeg. I was super excited for this day, because not only are Destiny and Nick an amazing couple, but I actually briefly worked at Evergreen Village as a banquet server nearly a decade before. I was excited to see all the improvements they made in that time. I was not disappointed- Evergreen Village is absolutely stunning!
We started the day off with some "getting ready" photos inside the gorgeous character house on the property. I've always been a huge fan of getting ready photos, as the energy and excitement that occurs right before a wedding is one of my absolute favourite feelings.
Next we headed outside for their ceremony. October in Manitoba can be interesting in terms of the whether, but it was a perfect day and their ceremony took place under the warm afternoon sun. We then had the chance to explore the property and take advantage of the many photo locations that Evergreen Village has to offer. We even got to take full advantage of golden hour- that magical hour just before the sun sets where the light is at its more gorgeous. We even had time for a quick s'more at the outdoor fireplace (such a cute touch) before heading inside for a delicious dinner and the reception.
Destiny and Nick's reception was so fun and featured so many personal touches. From the wheel that the guests had to spin to get them to kiss, to the Indigenous drummer, it was so memorable. They also had some awesome wedding party games, which really highlighted their relationship with everyone in their wedding party.
