Amy + Lance - Lakehouse Elopement

Amy and Lance’s elopement was nothing short of magical. Located just a few hours from Winnipeg, Riding Mountain National Park is one of my favourite places to be, and it’s even better when I get to spend the day photographing an amazing couple. And Amy and Lance are definitely an amazing couple!

Amy and Lance booked an elopement package with Lakehouse, a gorgeous boutique hotel located in the heart of Riding Mountain National Park. Lakehouse is the perfect place to elope. Not only do they handle all the details (they even made Amy’s stunning bouquet!), but it’s also a great place for a honeymoon as well. After their first look on the Ominnik Marsh’s floating boardwalk, Amy and Lance exchanged vows in front of Lakehouse’s stunning fireplace. We then walked over to the shores of Clear Lake for some more photos before they headed back to Lakehouse for dinner.

If you’re planning an elopement, Lakehouse should definitely be on your radar. I think that people tend to associate elopements with traveling to a far away place, but there are so many beautiful places right in our own backyard. Riding Mountain National Park is definitely one of those places.
